Bilingual Daycare

On Karl-Theodor-Strasse 29, in West-Schwabing (U-Bahn station Bonner Platz), our bilingual daycare, Kuschel & Carlos, opened in September 2013. German-speaking teachers and English native speakers take care of 12 nursery children (0-3 years old) and 25 Kindergarten children (3-6 years old).

Lots of space for the children

Our daycare is located in a wonderful, detached villa with a large garden. The building consists of three floors and approximately 313 square metres of space. The spacious, light rooms, some with connecting sliding doors, have direct access to the terrace and garden. The large, well-established garden offers the children about 400 squaremetres of space-a playing paradise!

Our house was built in 1933 by Karl Zeleny as a publishing house. The clay building offers  an excellent indoor climate, suited especially well to people with allergies. Since January 2013 the house has been extensively, and nearly entirely by hand, renovated. In the process, high-quality, ecological materials were used exclusively. The goal of the renovation is to combine the original traditional charm (high ceilings, discreet stucco mouldings, parquet flooring, elegant swing doors) with a modern ambiance.
